Middle school students will begin to develop a more advanced knowledge of the workings of the cell including genetics. Kids explore how cell divide and why. Students will also explore DNA.
Students are given a chance to explore genetics, mutations, and pedigrees. Hands-on learning using genetic crossings. Students will work with topics like human blood typing, autosomal mutations, and gamete mutations.
These can be used as a sequential curriculum or stand alone units.
