What is covered in Unit 2?

Learn the parts of a cell and how cells were discovered.  Students are asked to explore the diversity of cells and the role of STEM cells in human development.  Students will have a chance to work with video, texts, evidence, and experiments to resolve questions like:

  • Does this evidence support the cell theory?
  • Using this information and what you already know about cells, what is the most important structure of the cell?
  • What makes STEM cells special?
  • What is the reason that the plasma membrane is semi-permeable?

We are currently making revisions to make it even better.  Release in Spring 2019.

No need to wait, other units are available now.

These can be used as a sequential curriculum or stand alone units.
